4:30am I woke up with contractions and walked around the house for about an hour and my water broke about 5:30am. Mom and I arrived at the hospital a little after 6am and then all the fun began :)

I went in with the mind set to have her naturally then at 5cm they offered me an epidural and I said YES PLEASE. However, my blood work came back and my white blood cells were high (they said probably because of the stress) so I would not be able to have one. SO BACK TO PLAN A. They did give me nubain though ( to take the `edge off`) and well it lasted until about 7cm. They did give me some more at that point but the nurse told me afterwards she did it hoping it would be more of a mind thing, cause she said she knew it wasn`t really going to do anything! From 7cm - 9 1/2cm it was the worst pain I have ever felt and when I had to push to try to get myself to 10, I about lost it. But my mom, sis and the nurses and midwife were amazing. My senses, however, were very hightened and the smallest and weirdest things bothered me :) Pushing in total lasted about 50 minutes. I did not have to be cut but there was a slight tear. Once she was out, the pain just vanished. It was the most amazing experience and I cant even put it into words the feelings that came when they handed her to me. The fact that I was able to have her naturally is amazing and it all worked out to how I originally wanted it.

My angel is here and she is a beautiful little girl and I am so happy and so blessed to have her. <3
