Jalynee-Marie`s birthstory

I went to my doctors appt on dec 10. They doc checked me out and told me my blood pressure was high and that i was really swollen. He sent me to the hospital and told me that if my blood pressure doesnt go down that theyll have to do a c-section that night and if it did go down that theyll induce my labor the next morning. I got to the hospital around 4:30 pm. Once they admitted me into the triage they checked my blood pressure and it was back to normal. I was really happy cuz i thought i was going to have to have a c-section. At about 9pm they put me in a delivery room. They came in at 11pm to insert the cervadil so it can thin out my cervix and the pitocin the next morning would absorb it alot better. well instead of just thining me out it made me start dialating. I was in soooo much pain. The contractions kept getting worse and worse. I begged the nurse for the epidural. They guy finally came in at 2:30. Boy was i in heaven afterwards. All i could feel was the pressure of the baby. The doctor came in and checked my cervix. He told me i was 7cm dialated. I was on 2 when the cervadil was inserted so i progressed alot in 3 hrs. I was really happy cuz i thought this baby was going to come soon. Well.... he inserted somthing to check the baby`s heartbeat. Her heartbeat would go down everytime i had a contraction and he said she had to come out right away. I then started to push but at the rate i was going he said it would take an hour to have the baby. I had to have an emergency c-section. How scary! They took me into the o.r. Thank god i already had the epidural! I could still feel when they sliced me. It didnt hurt but i could feel myself opening up. Then they had to push her down cuz she climbed up to my ribs. THAT HURT!!! I wanted to cry so bad but luckaly my hubby was there to support me. He kept tellingme that i could do it. If he wasnt there i dont kno how i would have survived it. He really helped me out by giving me strength and keeping my mind off what they were doing. Withing 3 minutes she was born. I heard her cry and i was so realived and happy i cant even explain it. It was all worth it. Recovery is the worse part of the whole birth. I was realeased the 13 th. They nurses and doctors were amazed at how well i was progressing. I still have trouble getting up and moving around. Im jus happy that she finally here!!!
