Isabella-Grace`s birthstory

Went to the hospital to be induced on June 30th at 4.30pm, They didnt put the cervidil tape in until 6pm, I was already having irregular contractions, but by 10pm I had the the show, and the cervidil tape fell out, they put it back in but it didnt stay there. Contractions were coming on pretty fast but werent lasting too long so nurses thought i wasnt close enough, so kept me in the maternity ward.

Contractions were getting stronger and a little harder to breathe through, so nurse checked me and i was told i was 5cm dilated this was about 2.30am. The student midwife advised the older nurse i should be moved to birthing suite for the 3rd time, and finally the nurse listened even though was hesitant. I got taken to birth suite at 2.50am.
I had the urge to push but was told not to because i wasnt dilated enough yet and it would slow things down, but my body was taking over & i had one big push my water broke, my partner went to tell the midwife who told me again i wasnt ready to push and just breathe through the contractions (even though they hadnt checked dilation again) I pushed 2 more times and I felt her head come down and was already half out! The midwife walked in the room just in time to catch Isabella literally. The birth was so quick i still can`t believe it. I had a 1 degree tear but luckily wasnt bad enough to need stitches. I am so happy with my 3 girls!!

I was lucky to be taken to birth suite when i did at 2.50am, 4 contractions later Isabella Grace was born at 3.06am!! So if the nurse hadnt of listened i would of had her on my bed in maternity lol.

She weighed 8lbs 13oz, 52cm long. I didnt have any pain relief as labour was soo quick and progressed well. My last 2 labours were 5 and a half hours (induced) 2nd was 35 hours (also induced) so 56 mins was incredible i still cant believe how fast it was
