Shelby-Rae-`s birthstory

Monday May 4th I had my appt at 10:45. I was admitted for an induction at the appt. I went upstairs to the labor room and was prepped for induction. My doctor inserted a pill in my cervix to soften. 4 hours later I was dialted to a 3-4. I was then put on petocin and the real pain began. I was eventually given a shot in the back for pain, but it only lasted for maybe an hour. After that I was dialated to 7 and my doc put me on the peanut. She literally sat on the floor next to me to keep the monitor on the baby. 15 min labor I was in what I thought was the worst pain ever, but I breathed through it all. I got back on the bed and was at a 9!!! The doc got ready and told me I could push. That was the worst pain ever. I pushed about 4 to 5 times and because the pain was so bad I pushed HARD! and she was out! I couldnt believe she came out so fast!
