Victoria-Rose-Lewis`s birthstory

I went in to have my water broken at 5:30 am, but my doc didn`t make it around until 8 am. Water broke with no problems and I was 3 cm and 80% and 0 station. My doc thought it would be a late afternoon, early evening delivery. Around 10 am pitocin was started at 2 and we ended up all the up to 30. I had planned on no pain relief and made it till about 10 pm until I had an epidural because my doc recommended it. I had stopped dilating about 2-3 hours earlier and he thought an epidural would allow my pelvis to relax and open up. Around 12 he came in to talk to me about a c-section. He said we were either dealing with a small pelvis or large baby. So...I had planned on an all natural birth, but ended up completely opposite of that. I did get an absolutely beautiful baby though!
