Jessica-Brianne-Holliday`s birthstory

Friday afternoon I went to my DR. appt and he stripped my membranes and told me to come to the hospital Monday morning to be induced. Friday night me and my bf were bored so we went and bought the new mario game for the wii. We played til 12:45 AM and then went and got in the bed. At 1:15 AM I started getting contractions, My bf timed them and they were 5 minutes apart. I called my mom and told her and she came over. We got all the stuff together and headed to the hospital. We got into a L&D room quick. They checked me and said I was only 1 centimeter dilated but they started me an IV and monitored my contractions. They called my DR to see what he wanted to do and he said he would come by and see me. Finally around 10:30 AM Saturday morning my DR came by and just said Katy your not in labor come back Monday. He was really rude about it. So I go home, I am hurting SOOO bad. All I can do is lay in the bed or get in the bath tub. My contractions get worse and I thnk I am dying, I just kept thinking how am I going to lay here and take this pain til Monday. All my mom and bf could do is watch me in pain. I told my mom to call the hospital back and they said If I wanted to I could come back and be checked, but that it was up to me. I was scared to go back because I thought my DR would be even more mean if he had to come around again, I was so scared but then my contractions were 3 minutes apart so I left. When I get to the hospital I can barely walk through the ER. They get a wheelchair and wheel me to the L&D on the way to my room my water breaks. They check me and I am already 6 centimeters dilated, I barely made it there in time to get the epidural. The epidural didn`t hurt like I thought it would and getting the catheter was NOTHING, =) By the time I got the epi I was almost 7 1/2 cm dilated. After about 2 hours it was time to start pushing with the nurse. Then my Dr. came by and looked aggravated to be there. My mom and eddie stayed in the delivery room with me, I didn`t have to push long, he did use some forceps, but she was out so quick. I didn`t expect to have such a big baby she was 7 pounds and 3 ounces 21 inches long. Born at 6:44 PM on November 21. My boyfriend has helped me so much since we have been at the hospital he helps me go to the bathroom, shower, take care of Jessica, He really amazed me. I hope he doesn`t stop now that we are home.
