Left work and went to Dr. on Friday 9/18/09 and had shown progress and was in early labor. Dr. sent me to hospital and broke my water at 6pm - when I got to 4cm, I had my epidural and then they started petocin to get it moving after I did not progress. The petocin kicked in as they increased the amount of petocin. I reached 6cm around 1:00 am and then progress to 10 cm with 15 minutes. The nurse asked me to try pushing and had me stop since she saw the babies head. My hubby, daughter and mother were with me the whole time. When the dr. arrived we pushed several times and Karley Rose arrived at 1:32am and weighed 7lbs. 12 oz, was 21" long, and had a full head of dark hair. She looks just like her dad.
