Emilee-Lynn-Fortenberry`s birthstory

Well we had no idea that when I went to the doctor on Monday morning March 3rd that we would be delivering our daughter the very same day. I had went in for a scheduled appointment, and they did an u/sound and an nst, well her heart rate was fluctuating, and my blood pressure had sky rocketed! So, they decided to send me to the hospital to be induced.

Got to the hospital they prept me for induction, gave me petocin, immediatly started having contractions, was dialated a 3/4, pain was ok not to bad at this point, then I went to a 5/6 it got worse so I got the epidural, it worked ok for about 2 hours, then, suddenly I got what they call a hot spot and I could feel again, the contractions and everything!!! I was so miserable, it was really rough, they were going to come in and give me more medicine, till I felt a lot of pressure, she checked me and I was 9 and a half centimeters! OUCH! I could feel the pain at this point all of it, and I was screaming bloody murder! She then told me that is was time to push and their was not going to be time for the medicine! I was freaking out, it hurt so bad! Then all I did was pushed through 3 contractions, and she was out!!! IT was AWESOME! I got a 2nd degree tear from it, but it was so all worth the experience, with my son I didn`t feel a thing, but with this one it was rough but worth it! Make sure you get that epidural in the right spot!!! They didn`t put mine in right! If your feeling contractions then it`s not working!! LOL Emilee is doing very well, she is nursing/ supplemental bottle feeding till milk comes in. It still hasn`t! I hope it does. She is a perfect little gift from God!
