tuesday night i was administered into triage because i thought that my water broke and they needed to test my amniotic fluid, the test came back negative, but the dr. told the nurse that he wanted to check me himself in the morning and for me to stay over night, then he came in the next day and checked me and said nothing had happened and that i was fine. Later that afternoon my back was hurting worse than it ever has before, and every time i breathed in i was practically crying. Me and my boyfriend went on a walk, we had sex, then we went to the mall to walk around, i ate some spicy food, and then i went to brookestone, got a massage, and then had to throw up. On our way home i was freaking out because my back hurt so bad, i called the dr. again and told him of my excruciating pain in my back, and he told me to go ahead and go to the hospital. So we went back up to triage for the second night in a row, they checked my contractions, my temperature, the babies heart beat, my blood pressure, all of that stuff, and made me stay over night again, the Dr. came in the next morning and told me that the urine sample i gave them had a little blood in it, so i probably had a `kidney stone` which he said was very common due to prenatal vitamins containing too much calcium. So i went home, AGAIN and slept a lot, went out to eat for dinner with my parents, and came back to our apartment, and went to sleep around ten. at about 12 i woke up to pee, and went to sit on the toilet and before i could even think about `releasing` my pee, i heard a big cup of water fall out of me into the toilet,.....Totally FREAKED me out!! If i hadn`t already lost my mucus plug a week before that i would have thought that was what it was. i looked at my panties and they were wet, and i thought to myself, no way, not again, i am not gonna be that girl who goes to the hospital every night when she is almost due... But then again, i was like well if this is, infact my water, then i have to call the dr. So i called the dr, he told me to go ahead and come in and they checked and it was amniotic fluid finally! :o) I had my mom take me to the hospital because i didn`t want my boyfriend, josh to have to take me and it be another false alarm, and him not get any sleep for work. We got to the hospital around 3 AM and they started me on pitocin around 7, and they FINALLY DID AN INTERNAL EXAM!!! To find out that my cervix was really really far back, and maybe barely dialated to a ONE! I stayed on pitocin until 12:30 the dr. checked me again and said that my cervix had made no progress and that they were gonna have to open up my tummy and get the baby themselves....Holy shit, i always thought it might happen, but probably not, but it just happened, they confirmed that i was going to get a c-section. My boyfriend almost shit his pants!! Within 20 minutes i went from being on a crappy bed in triage to talking to the dr. to talking to the anesthisiologist, to being walked back to the OR, getting on that table with the big bright and scary lights, leaning over getting my spinal block and them slicing away at me!! They happened to `nick` right underneath my babies left eye too!!! i was so upset i wanted to kill them!! Since she was `sunny side up` they just `cut` a little too deep aparently and she had a battle wound! THEY MISSED HER EYE BALL BY ABOUT A CENTIMETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The c-section recovery was scary as hell, i thought that i was going to be paralyzed for the rest of my life, but i am healing nicely and kylies eye looks totally fine now, no one can even tell it happened. But it was a really long stay at the hospital, almost an entire week (counting the two false alarms) and i was soooo glad to be back at home with my baby and my other baby *josh* I was really afraid that i would be a bad mom or i wouldn`t be able to do it, but i can and i love her so much it is indescribable!! Oh yes and i also told the dr. when i was about 38 weeks pregnant that my mom had back labor with me and my boyfriends mom had 3 back labors, and he said all that means is that the baby would come out `sunny side up`/face up obviously. Well i personally think that it was his dumbass who nicked her poor little eye!! and the pains i was feeling the night before i went into labor were not from a kidney stone, they were from back labor!!!!!!!! :)
