Layla-Louise-Matthews`s birthstory

Well we went in to be induced Thursday morning at 6:00am got my first pill called... um something with a C inserted around 7:00am not much happened. I had to stay in bed for 2.5 hours after getting the pill so I just hung out. Around 12:15pm I got my second pill and around 2:30pm I started to have contractions. Nothing horrible but it wasn`t like everyone had described to me. It wall all in my lower back. Around 5:00 or so I had some visitors and we started walking the halls and the contractions really picked up. At 6:30pm my water broke and the contractions were pretty bad! I was only 2 cm dilated though. Around 7:30pm we had a nurse change and then my knight in shining nurse came in! Dennis was amazing and made the whole experience so nice!!! Around 9:30pm I finally got my epidural!!! Oh it was heaven!!!! I was able to rest and relax! At 10:30pm I was 5 cm dilated and still feeling really well. Took a few naps and at 2:00ish I was 9 cm dilated got a little nervous when I heard that! Not much longer and I was at 10!!! I pushed for about an hour an a half a then there she was!!! She was perfect and hardly cried! Her Daddy was completely amazed and I didn`t think he was going to let me hold her!!!! ;) We came home Saturday and everything is going great! I`ll post pictures soon!!!
