Gabriel-Martin`s birthstory

I went into the hospital @ 10 pm August 13,2007 not feeling a damn thing, looking as big as a whale. I went into the ER, checked in and went right upstairs to my room, my birthing room was HUGE (VIP here..lol).. so they checked me & i was actually 1cm dilated. SO, they didn`t have to do the cervidil to start making me open up a little. I was hooked up to the pitocin drip @ 5am August 14,2007. And they kept checking me every 3-4 hrs. So around 11:30am I was in alot of pain (those contractions are no joke). I was ONLY 3 freaking cm dilated. AHHHH!!!!!!!So the doc came in broke my water (what a weird feeling lol) & thank God she broke it when she did b/c there was a little meconium in my water (my little man was starting to do his first poopies). So then the pain really came hard & i couldn`t take it anymore. Around Noon they came in to give me my epidural & it was absolute heaven. My body was able to relax that i went from the 3cm to 6 to 10 in about 3hrs. I felt ALOT of rectal pressure & the nurse said its time to have a baby. I was like OMG i can`t do this, I`m not ready. And before I knew it just 20 minutes of hard pushes and out came my little man. Beautiful little cry that came out afterward. My hubby & I were in tears. It was the most incredible feeling in the whole world. Can`t wait til its time for baby #2.
