Okay this is how it all begin. On Sunday morning around ummm I'll say 5:00a.m I got up to use the restroom and had this sharp pain hit me soo hard, but it did not feel like normal. I laid back down and my hubby screamed is it time?? I said no lets give it 30 more minutes and see what happens, as soon as I got those words out of my mouth they hit again and again. I said ok lets go. It was so funny to see him run around the house trying to make sure that we had everything that we needed. I had to tell him to calm down. We jumped in the car and rode of into the sunset.(more like sunrise) My husband and I argued about him NOT running the stop lights.. I told him I was in pain so why are you stopping for the lights??? he told me to shut up!! It's funny now but I was going to kill him then. So we arrived at the hospital at 6:05a.m. and they took me back to set me up on all the monitors and things. The nurse( oh she was so rude) came in to check me and said that I was only 2cm and has not effaced at all yet and that they might be sending me back home. Just then my doc came in and checked me and she said that I was 3cm and and about 60% effaced. That other nurse was just ready to go home. So I continued to hurt like hell then about 8:30a.m. they cam in again to check me and I went up to 4cm and they were ready to give me my drugs(THANK GOD FOR DRUGS). I felt so good after that. I layed back and tried to relax, so around 10:15 they came in to give me a catheter(sp) and I asked her to check me again, she stated I just checked you not long ago, adn when she checked me I was 10cm YEAAAAAH!! She was just as amazed as I was. I told her to stop playing I could not have dialated that fast. She paged the young ladies to come in and set up the room. They were in there so fast it seemed like a camera crew setting up for a movie. They placed my legs up in those feet thingys(can't remember what they are called) and she said please don't laugh or cough your baby is about to slipp out. My husband was looking all between my legs saying Oh shit baby Oh shit her head is hanging out, and I thought he was playing so I did a lil giggle and they yelled NOOOOOO her forehead was coming out now. So once my doctor came in all I had to do was a half of a push and Mz. Gabrielle Marie was born @ 11:00a.m. 6lbs 4oz 20in long. It was the one of the best feelings in the world. THNAK YOU LORD FOR YOUR BLESING!!! I tried to keep it short my hands are still swollen.LOL!
