Haley's Birth Story

gosh, lets see. . . when i was pregnant with Haley i was working at burger king. i was 19, hadn't been married long & was living with my (then) husband & his grandparents. i was the opener & had to be up by 4:15 or so to be at work by 5:00am. i was asleep but was very uncomfortable & having pains, so i wasn't able to sleep. i tried different positions, sleeping on the couch, but nothing was working. everyone was asleep, so i stayed in pain for a while. i had to call out because the pain was getting unbareable. my ex's grandmother took me to the hospital. my ex was at school & refused to leave to come be with me, so i waited until my mom came. by then my contractions were really close together, but as i was dialating & they were running all their tests, they told me her heartrate was dropping with the contractions & were afraid her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, they decided to do a c-section, they didn't give me a choice. they broke my water & got me moved to the surgery room, my mom was in there with me as they gave me the epidural. AFTER the c-section they figured out her cord wasn't wrapped around her neck. . . she was just stressed & laying on the umbilical cord, causing it to sort of pinch & thus freaking out the docs. it was a hasty decision by the docs, but she was the most beautiful girl with a thick head of dark hair (just as i had when i was born).

Gavin's Birth Story

me & my daughter were staying with my dad when i was pregnant with Gavin. i didn't have a job because nobody wants to hire a pregnant girl :( i didn't have a car at the time & my dad worked nights at his job, so i took him to work that night so i could keep his car. i stayed at the house watching tv, cleaning & taking care of my daughter. she went to bed & my pains were becoming increasingly worse. i was in the middle of the livingroom floor, crouched over a pillow & it was terrible, i couldn't sleep AT ALL !! i had to pick my dad up at work by 7am the next morning. around 6:20am i had a terrible urge to pee, so as i was in the bathroom a HUGE gush of water came pouring out ! unlike my 1st pregnany in which i had my water broke by the doc, this one was on it's own. i didn't want to move from the potty since i was leaking everywhere but it was getting close to time to leave so i could get my dad & i still had to get my daughter up. so i padded myself, get her ready & left. with labor pains coming on hard, i drove all the way out to my dads worked, picked him up, he had no idea what was going on, so when he came over to the car, i was like "WE HAVE TO GO NOW !!!!" we tried to call my son's dad, but he didn't want to come to the hospital. so my dad drove me to the hospital & once i was settled in, he left & my mom came up there to be with me. since i had a previous c-section, they made me have one this time as well. my mom was again in the surgery room with me. it only took a few minutes after the spinal-tap & he was out & was the cutest little man ever with a full head of hair !!

Adisyn`s birthstory

I was scheduled to go into the hospital to have a c-section performed on Sept 10. She was to be delivered around 1:00. around 6:30-6:45 that morning though, i went into labor ! it was like she knew what day it was. so we get to the hospital around 10:45 & do our paper work, get a room & a gown. the doc comes in around 1:00 & gets some last minute info. then goes to prep for the surgery. at 2:04 that afternoon i am in the room & Adisyn comes into the world ! she was 6lbs 5oz, 20 inches long with beautiful brown hair & little blue/grey eyes ! daddy & grandmas were all there to take pics & were all very excited.
