Lily-Star`s birthstory

I woke up the morning of may 13th leaking amniotic fluid.
I didnt know for sure what it was at first, i thought maybe
I was peeing or had heavier discharge so I didnt do anything
about it right away.
It kept going on til later in the afternon and I was starting to worry
so I talked to my mom and sister-in-law about it and they said I
should call nursediresct...so i did...
I told them everything and they called my doctor...my doctor called
me back and told me to get to the hospital as soon as possible.
So, I flew there as fast as I could and got checked.
Low and behold...my water broke and they checked me into the
hospital to get ready to have my little girl!
I was freaking out because i was only 34 weeks and 4 days along.
Well, I got into my room and changed into a gown and they started
hooking me up to an IV and giving me antibiotics...and then they
completely broke my bag of water and gave me something to start
my contractions, omg i hate contractions, lol.
They came on...getting stronger and stronger and closer and closer.
And all of a sudden...my little girls heartrate dangerously dropped.
I had to change to a hands and knees position and it went back up...
They thought maybe her cord was around her neck
and she couldnt breathe.
but things were just jumping everywhere and the doctor wasnt going
to take any second chances so we decided to have a c-section to get
her outta there.
Fourty five minutes later...I became a mommy to a BEAUTIFUL little
girl...she was 5lbs 8ounces and 19in long.
Of course she is a premie so she has to stay in the hospital for a little
while...but she is doing AMAZING and will be able to come home soon.
Im just SOOOOOOOOO happy she is okay! I LOVE YOU LILY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!
