- 8 am - Contractions start again

- 10 am- Epidural

- 1:45 pm - Started Pushing, 3 pushes per contractions, 4 contractions, 12 pushes
- 1:50 pm - Doctor comes for 4 more contractions, 12 pushes
- 1:59 pm - Maddox is born

Avery-Nicole`s birthstory

Had contractions for about 3 hours through the night of the 14th. Went in to have a NST to see what was up and had ZERO contractions so I was sent home. Was not checked or anything.

Had bloody show and lost a good pair of underwear (lol) around noon and had some intermittent contractions that decided to get regular around 7pm, I just assumed they would stop like they had the night before and watched a movie with my husband (Flash of Genius, great movie) and went to bed around 10pm, didn`t get much sleep, up and down going pee with contractions that I was sure would stop like they had the night before since I was only 35weeks. at around 1230 I went to the restroom and peed, then I felt a very warm slow drip that I instantly knew was blood, so I turned the light on and sure enough.

I started crying bc I suddenly realized I was in true labor and woke my husband up. He threw a few things in a bag and called my friend to keep our son who will turn 1 yr old on Saturday, all while I`m contracting, trying to brush my teeth, peeing, going crazy...

We finally get Maddox dropped off around 1am, I get to the hospital around 145ish, and they tell me I am complete so I try to get an epidural and get settled but decide that i don`t want to wait bc the contractions are INSANE, so I push maybe 2 times after they break my water and here is my lil girl!! we had only been here for 45minutes or so before she was born... we live about 30 minutes from the hospital and this could have turned into giving birth in the car!

She`s on oxygen right now, so she`s not in here with me, my husband is gone signing out for Paternity Leave, gathering a few things we forgot and coming back in a little bit... I`m waiting for the dctors to come give me updates... hopefully Avery wont be stuck in the nursery for long... its so strange to have had her 4 hours ago and only held her one time, and visited her once...

Now I`m going to take a NAP!
