Julietta-Dawn`s birthstory

had random contractions around 2 in the morning... went to sleep, woke up around 3:30 with more intense and closer contractions.... started timing contractions at 4:15 and they were 5 mins apart and that lasted for 2 hours.. went to the hospital.... contractions were 1-3 mins apart... intense but not crazy painful... was checked and my cervix was still very high as was the baby.. and 2-3 cm dialated and 75% effaced. stayed in the triage for about 4 hours... was admitted... contractions became out of control. still every 1-4 minutes-ish. i was screaming in pain and especially when the dr checked my cervix each time cus it hurt sooooo bad. the dr broke my water about noon, then i had the epidural, which i was SO scared of but it made it SOOOOOOOOO much better!!!!!!!!!!! then at 2:15 i had only increased to about 3-4 cm dialated and the baby was still high. they started pitocin, then the babys heartbeat dropped briefly from the 150s and 160s to 96. it was 2:55pm and the dr said id be having a C section at 3:30. my 2 favorite drs from the practice were the ones who delivered Julietta, and she was just so perfect. got a 9/10 Apgar, which is the highest a C section baby can get. She is gorgeous... i have no time to go online, but i will post pics soon!!!!!!!!
