Alexis-Rose`s birthstory

I went for my 36 week check up on Wednesday, January 30. My blood pressure was high so I was sent to the hospital. My blood pressure did not lower while on hospital bed rest, and my urine came back with plus 2 protein in it, and my lab work came back indicating pre-eclampsia. I was put on magnesium sulfate and told we would deliver that afternoon. I was prepped, and at 3:18 pm my daughter, Alexis, was born via c-section. Although she was one day from term she came out screaming!!! 9/9 on her apgar and perfectly healthy!!! She is a pro at breastfeeding. We got to go home Satuarday Feb. 2, and we are recovering nicely together. :) I`m so in love!!! We started ttc in April 2011, so to now have her in my arms is absolutely amaing!!!!
