Lynell Jr's Birth Story

Hi everyone, sorry that it took me almost a week to get my birth story up, but here it is. On Friday, July 25th, I went to my prenatal visit at 9:30am. I felt fine and I was in no pain at all, but when my doctor checked my cervix, he told me that I was already 4 centimeters dilated and that he wanted me to go to the hospital for delivery. I WAS SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I checked in at the hospital around 11am. At about 12:15pm, I was given an enema (I know, TMI - Sorry), which made me begin having contractions. At about 2:30pm, I began receiving pitocin and was still at 4 centimeters. At about 6:15pm, I was checked again and was now 7 centimeters. This was also when my water broke. My doctor examined me at about 6:50pm and I was at 10 centimeters. After 3 or 4 pushes, my little prince made his grand entrance at 6:58pm. He is just perfect and more beautiful than I even imagined. I LOVE HIM SOOOOO MUCH!!!!
