Tarynne-Elizabeth-Paige`s birthstory

Induced with Prostin gel at 345pm on Friday Jan 18. Contractions started but were hardly noticeable. 730pm I began to feel the pressure more, and started walking around to help with the uncomfortable feeling. 10pm I was checked and I was 2cm but still very thick. Another dose of Prostin gel and I began to feel them more and more. 12am Sat morning, my water broke. By 3am my contractions were very intense and felt alot of pressure further down on my belly then on top. Rocking back and forth and not laying down helped but it just progressively got closer and closer and more intense. At 345am I was 4cm. Epidural was ordered and by the time he came, I wanted to push, but I wanted the epi first. Trying not to push while he was getting the epi done was HARD! When he was done, I still felt the urge to push and I was checked and fully dilated! Started pushing at about 450am and baby girl was delivered at 502am. Apgar scores of 9 and 10. Weighing in at 5lbs 8 oz and 19 1/4 in.
