They admitted me on wednesday night just to monitor my blood pressure and swelling.. apparently i was preeclamptic... as soon as i got to L&D the dr said they were going to try and induce my labor with cervidil..... by thursday 12 noon they were going to try and break my water, but the baby was too far up so they gave me this drug so i could sleep... and boy did I !! I woke up at 5 to find out they were going to insert this thing inside on the babys head to try to induce labor again... and instead it triggered my water to break... the midwife Fran was soooo far `down there` and she was expecting my water to break, everyone said it looked like a fire hydrant being released... it just CAME OUT!! and it took Fran by surprise .. she had her mouth open and almost got the fluid in her mouth! But the water wouldnt stop and it felt so weird... but i was so drugged up and tired i didnt even realize wat was fully going on... all i really remember is seeing my sister walk in as my water was gushing everywhere.. Okay so.... 2 hrs later after my water breaking i was still only 2 cm dilated so she sed it prolly wasnt meant to be a vaginal... i thanked god!.... everyone said i was handling the contractions REALLY well.. so they prepped me for c section and by 8 o clock i was getting the spinal.... and 8:22 she was out!
