Biggest achievement so far: My little Sophie has discovered helping mommy with laundry and cooking, she loves making salad for her family!!! also loves the word NO!

-- Sophie is missing her big sister while she's in school during the day but we are having so much fun together. Today Sophie and I made cookies and brownies and surprised Daddy and Hayden when they got home. Sophie's new favorite word is cookie ... all she wants are cookies, cookies and more cookies.

Sophie has just turned two years old, she's learning her ABC's and she loves Dora the Explorer. Sophie's favorite song ever since she was a baby has been O'McDonalds Farm.. I think as her older sister Hayden she loves farm animal ... any animals for that matter.

Sophie's Birth Story

Sophie was born three weeks early on September 1st 2005, weighing 7lbs 3oz and 20.5 inches long. She was deffentely going to be a big baby if she stayed in till term. I believe our Due date estimation was wrong and she was born on time but the doctor insists she was early. The day I went into labour we were visiting family members out side of town about an hour from our hosptial destination, Hayden was two years old and loving being on the farm, she was playing with grandpa and horses, she's a big horse fan! Contractions started in the early morning not really going anywhere or doing anything, it was more of a switch and go deal, infact I didn't even think that she was on her way... By 12 noon I noticed that I had started spotting a brownish yellow fluid and straight then Zack and I headed to the hospital, I had lower back pain and we were worried. Hayden stayed with Grandpa just in case. After the hour to get to the hospital we rushed into the ob area and we were admitted straight away no questions asked, by this time my doctor had meet us at the hospital just in time to give us a little check .. I was 5 cm dialated and 75% effective, Oh how excited and worried we were about the whole situation. My doctor ensured us that the baby was healthy and she just wanted out early and it was perfectly normal to deliever to a tad early. So in all situations there was no turning back and it was time to meet our new baby girl, later did I realize that it wouldn't be an easy prosess Sophie decided that she didn't want to move down the birth canal she was in the right spot but she didn't want to squirm so the doctor tried manually helping her push down, it took about half an hour of rumbling and pushing of my belly to get her in the right place to through herself into th canal .. As her older sister did before her she actually turned herself and came out upside down, very dangerous and very scary but there was no stopping things now, she was healthy as healthy can be and Miss Sophie Goergina was born!!!

Keaton-Avery`s birthstory

Keaton Avery was born via emergency cesarean at 4:44am on November 11, 2007. He was born at 33 weeks weighting 3lbs 2oz and 17 inches long.

Keaton`s arrival was very un expected but due to my preclampsmia and my exteremly high blood pressure there was all the reason to deliever the baby. Keaton is doing very well!
