I was induced on Dec 20 at 7pm with cervidil. The next morning at 10 am my doctor broke my water. She had to keep coming in periodically stretching my cervix because I wasn`t dialating timely. I got my epidural at 12pm and by 3pm it was only working in my legs, so I got some more meds. That took all the pain away between my legs but by 8pm I was dying again. The new anthesiologist wouldn`t give me anything by nubain which doesn`t work for me, but I took it anyway. He said for me to wait an hour and then he would come and give me a new epidural. He thinks it just moved. Well at 8:50 my doctor came in and she stretched me and had me push at the same time to get me to 10cm. I was so tired by this point and was hurting so bad I was having a panic attack while pushing. She had to use the vacuum to help get him out. I knew he was big when she had to manuever his hips out. I couldn`t believe he was almost 9lbs and I did it basically without any medication. I felt everything but it was well worth it!
