OMG! It was sooo much better than what I expected. My water broke after my husband and I had sex for the first time in like 2 mos.!LOL. Not even an hour after!! I arrived at the hospital at 3:15 a.m. I wasnt havent any contractions so I was trying to wait but my hubby was in a complete panic and called everyone in his phonebook to tell them my water broke!! When I got to the hospital, they monitored me and the baby and I was okay with minor contractions. They started getting painful around 5:30 am , I was only 3-4 centimeters and I asked for some pain medicine. They gave me Nuban (not sure how to spell) and it helped for a minute. Contractions became unbearable and about 3 within 10 mins. At around 10:30 i was 5-6 centimeters and I received my epidural. Finally some relief. Didnt last long though. I tried to sleep for a little but at around 11:20 I called the nurse b/c it seemed like the epidural wasnt working. I felt like I had to poop. The nurse came in, checked me and said, The head is right there, Youre ready to push! I was like WHAT!! I told her no, Im not ready yet and she said the baby is ready so you have to push. I pushed for 30 mins and she was here at 12:01 p.m. I have some stiches but other than that it didnt last very long. She`s just perfect and beautiful!! I love her to death, and she has daddy wrapped around her finger already. My husband did better than I thought, he was there the whole time, saw everything and didnt pass out!! I would definitely do it 10 more times for her!!
