My waters broke at 6.20am Wednesday morning.
I rung the hospital to ask what I should do, with having group B strep I was told that I needed to get into he hospital and I would have my baby that day. I hadnt started contractions yet, even when we arrived at the hospital which was about 7.30am. I was started on IV antiobiotics and also another drip of medication to begin contractions, which started me off pretty quick.I was checked and already 3 cm dilated. Im a huge wimp with pain so asked for an epidural. Once that kicked in the contractions wernt too bad but when the Dr checked me again I was fully dilated and told that in about half an hour I was going to start pushing so they wanted the epidural to ware off. I think i only pushed for about an hour or so and out came my beautiful baby girl. The pain was all worth it:)
