Molly-Ann`s birthstory

On Monday I was scheduled to be induced at 5am. The hubby and I got up at 3:30, ate breakfast, and headed to the hospital. I was so excited. At 6:30 I was in the delivery suite and was already hooked up to my IV. They broke my water and started the pitosin. After about an hour of the contractions I threw my all natural plan out of the window and decided to get an epidural. The anesthesiologist took only 5 minutes to get there and give me my shot. It was the best decision I ever made. I started off at 4cm dilated. So around 12:40 I was 10 cm and it was time to push. I was really excited that my little girl was about to be here. I was just hoping that it wouldnt take too long to push her out. With my first set of pushes Molly's heart rate got really low. They threw an oxygen mask on me and stopped the pushing. About 5 minutes later the doc came in and got me to push again and her heart rate stayed normal. I was now able to push again. Well after that my doc figured out that she was coming out sunny side up. This was not good news. He was scared I would have to have a section. But I tried to push her out for almost 3 hours. I was in the worst back pain ever from back labor and didnt think I could take anymore. My doc came by and decided to have a section. I was preped and sent to the operating room. The section was actually the best part of the day. And I cried my eyes out when I heard my Molly crying. My hubby videoed the section and ive watched it a few times and cry everytime. I got released from the hospital in 2 days and now im at home recooperating. I am so excited to get 8 weeks at home with my precious angel.
