Cooper-Duke-Gumbleton`s birthstory

Epidural that wore off about half an hour from the finale. Vacuum didn`t work as he was stuck in the birth canal. So was delivered using foreceps and three episiotomy cuts. Most painful experiene ever but luckily the bad memory is fading. My poor husband was terribly traumatised. The upside is that we have a good eater and sleeper with alovely nature. A Mommy can`t ask for better.

Harvey-Arnold`s birthstory

I was admitted at 7:30am and measured 3cm. My obstetrician broke the water but after three hours I still hadn`t started contracting. Just after 11am I was put on the drip and shortly after my epidural was administered. I didn`t really feel a single contraction other than as a little bit of pressure - it was wonderful. Just before 3pm the midwife checked me and called my obstetrician and in less than 15 minutes our baby boy was born. We were very surprised as we were both convinced it was a girl.
Everything was going great until I caught the most awful gastro bug in the universe. I have had to throw out 6 pairs of pants because I didn`t make it to the bathroom on time and I had an en suite!!! So horrific. I`m home now but still not keeping anything inside but it is better than vomitting. It also means that I have lost 8 of the 11 kg I put on during the pregnancy. However I would definitel not recommend this weight loss solution to anyone, especially if you had stitches!
In great news Cooper adores his baby brother, maybe a little too much and keeps trying to cuddle him to death. It`s so darn cute. Beyond exhausted but very happy with my new family. Can`t wait until my Mum arrives to help out next week.
