I had an ultrasound apt scheduled to see how big baby was when I was 39 weeks. I was 3 cm dialated and 90% effaced for 3 weeks!! Anyways, doc said baby was big about 8 10 or so. Then she noticed that my fluid levels were high. She explained how this could be dangerous for baby and possibly cause a cord accident. She wanted to induce me! Me and hubby were shocked! She called the hospital, and they told me to come right over. We got there at noon and I was given pitocin. When they checked me and hour later I was already at 5cm. And absolutely NO PAIN! But, doc wanted me to go ahead and get the epidural if i wanted one. So, I did and god that felt weird. It doesn't feel right to lay there and not be able to move the lower half of your body! Anyway, I began progressing fast, and started to feel a little bit of pressure. Still NO PAIN! At 7 they checked me and I was at 10cm! 30 mins of pushing and I had my little girl! I couldn't believe how easy it all was! So not what I expected!
