Were FINALLY home.Went to the hospital on Thursday morning to have gel applied to start the induction, after an hour we headed home and contractions started at noon - we headed back to the hospital at 8 that night so they could check contractions and see if I had started to dialate at all no dialation contractions were 2-4 minutes apart though and baby`s heart rate would drop after each contraction so we sat on monitors til about 1 am when they finally moved us to a room. At 5am they did more monitoring and the contractions had slowed to about 10 minutes and no dialation. They were going to do another gel insert but there were no nurses available to sit with us so nothing was done. At 5 pm my doctor came in said I was 2 cm dialated and broke my water. At 7 pm them moved us to a labour room as I was having contractions between 8-10 minutes and very crampy. I was 3 cm at 8 pm when the doctor checked me ( by now I`m begging for my epidural but blood work needed to be done so no epidural!!) So 10 pm comes I`m now 8 cm dialated no epidural and I cant stand the flippin` pain the laughing gas is making me dizzy within minutes I was fully dialated, so stage 2 of labour didn`t last long within half an hour she had arrived. They had to use the vaccum to assist and ended up tearing internally a little - but she came - she finally came.
