JAIDEN`s birthstory

Well...on the morning of my due date ( May26th) I just wasn't feeling right..went out did some shopping..funny thing was I was having no contractions and I felt great other than lots of pressure and massive swollen ankles...I got home and tried to rest bu then started to get some of my nasty back pain back...by 8pm i was in a lot of back pain and decided to go in to L&D to make sure everything was ok...they examined me and still a lousy 3 cms and 100% effaced... then the doctors say oh wait i think you have broken your water.. she examines me again and finds pools of water..indeed it had broken.. so i get admitted and not even an hour later they start an IV with Oxcitocin(don't know how to spell) because they didn't know how long my water had been broken for...right away contractions stat to get so bad and still not dilating....i got a small dose of morphine to try and take the edge off but it did nothing! All of a sudden a few hours later the contractions are unbarable and i am in so much pain.. the nurse comes in and examines me and says i am finally 6 cms...at this point i am so tired form the pain I get the epidural because i know i will be too tired to push.. so got the epidural and it only worked on my back...so then an hour later i am fully dilated with nasty pain in my lower belly....the nurse pumps my epi really strong tells me to go to sleep for an hour and then we will push as soon as i wake...so i wake up an hour later and start to push...had to get a small cut cause his head was getting stuck...no big deal, so two hours of pushing later and Jaiden finally comes out!! I am just estatic at this point and think yes now i can rest with my baby boy....wrong again.. My placenta wouldn't detatch so they had to go up and manually detach my placenta and pull it out.....let me tell you that was worse than all the labour and pushing x like a million!! finaaly they got it out an hour later and stitched me up and I wa on my way to recovery! Well that's my story and now i have a beautiful baby boy to enjoy!!!
