So we went in at 9:00PM on the 23rd to have the pill inserted, witch thinned my cervix and took me to a 1.5
(was 80% thinned and 1cm before the pill). Dr. came in the room on the 24th around 7:30AM and broke my water. They also started the pitocin at a level 2 and it was making me having contraction after contraction, witch would drop Tavia's heart rate. So they turned off the pitocin. I was having contractions 2-3 min apart without the pinocin. A few hours later they started it again because I was having a few contractions about 5 min apart and they wanted to make sure the contraction would stay steady. Well they shut it off because I starting having them one after another again. About 1-2 hours before deliver they turned it back on but, at a one and my body and Tavia was ok with that. I didn't want to the epidural until I was having pain that I couldn't take anymore (wanted to experience some labor pain) I was having contractions and started to cry and seen my contraction were only reading around 20-30 so it freaked my out.. I asked for my epi around 11:00AM because if they were only reading at 20-30 I didn't want to feel the ones at 80-100 Well come to find out the monitor wasn't picking up my contraction and I was really having 80-100 before I asked for the epi. So they inserted the moniter for contractions and her heart rate vaginally. I started to get visitors and was up laughing with them all day. Until it was time to delver then I only had Carl and my mom in the room. Well about one hour before I delivered it wore off and I'm SO GLAD it did because I was able to experience it again. So I had to work through about five contractions until the med worked in again, I didn't cry that time. I was time to start pushing. I pushed 2-3 on each contraction, total of five contractions and she entered the world at 7:33PM eyes wide open looking around, my Dr put her on my chest and Carl and I started talking to her as I was crying and she started to suck on her thumb and just looked at us. I was laughing and talking to Carl, my mom, Dr and nurses during everything. Daddy was the biggest help when it came time to push and when I was having my painful contractions. It was amazing and I would of changed anything.
