Born June 15, 2005 weighing 7lbs 15oz via c-section at 1:18pm

Around 10pm the night before, I went to bed having period like cramps. So while my hubby slept I went and layed on the couch and called my mom. My cramps didnt ease up and the pains were about 11 mins apart. So I called the nurse line and the doc on call called me back and was rude! She said "Your not in labor, your contractions have to be 3-5mins apart, there is no reason for you to be callin." Well I was so mad! Evidently she was mad she got woke up! My mom said to take a warm bath, well as soon as I took my bath and made it back to the couch it was on!A few hours had passed by then. My mom timed for an hour, pains every3-5 mins...Well around 6am my hubby gets up (I let him sleep cause I knew he had to work that day) and we headed to hospital. Well once there MY doc was there, thank the LORD, and not the one on call. I couldnt dialte at all! Due to a leep procedure I had which left scar tissue on my cervix. So I had to have a csection! I was a nervous wreck, but it went great. a healthy boy weighing about 8lbs!

I thought I was going to have him early cause when I was only 34 weeks pregnant I went into preterm labor. Went to hospital and then gave me a shot in my arm to stop contractions. It worked! I made it to my scheduled csection day of July 10th. This time with it being scheduled, I had a spinal instead of an epidural. It went good except for gettin nauseated at the end when they were sowin me up. I was so afraid to vomit cause I couldnt feel my lower half. Well the anesthesia man put an alcohol wipe under my nose and instantly I felt better. When they showed him to me over the curtain i was shocked! I wasn't expecting to see a tiny baby cause my first was 8lbs! but he was only 6lbs 11oz. SO LITTLE! My recovery was a lil harder when I got home. I had a bleeding episode and on top of that ended up with a breast infection.

Samuel`s birthstory

Started hurting saturday night, didnt go to sleep until 11:30. Next morning still feeling not right, got ready for church and in the car on the way to church started contractions. All through Sunday school still contracting only easing up 2x. I hurt all through preaching but thought it would go away. Well we got home and I was still contracting and called the on call nurse. She said by protocol for me to go into labor and delivery and get checked. We left the house about 2:30 and made it to hospital a lil after 3. Got checked into triage and sure enough still contracting regularly! We was in shock b/c my scheduled csection wasnt til May 14th. Well the csection was awful! even though I have had 2 previous ones, this one was crazy! It took about 15 mins to get the spinal! ouch! One time she hit my bone! I was pouring the sweat! I was praying so hard for it to be over!THEN WHEN THEY STARTED CUTTING I COULD FEEL IT. I looked at my husband and he knew I was in pain! Before I knew it they gave me something to knock me out, my hubby said I was out cold then they gave me med to wake me up. I was so dilirious it was hard to focus on my hubby face and my baby. but when he laid him beside my face i remember singing to him, the song thats on my profile! God showed up in that delivery room and blessed us! HE got me through it. I eventually came back to real good in recovery room. I didnt even hear my baby come out and cry! Hubby said cord was around his neck once and he cried so hard it took his breath. Well he is a wonderful baby! So tiny and precious! Even though I went through so much pain it was all worth it! This was my first pregnancy being saved and living my life for the LORD. What a difference this experience was. SO thankful HE was with us! and HE always is!
