Savannah-Gaylene-Madelin`s birthstory

So we went to the hospital on September 17th at 3:15pm to be induced. Upon arrival had my IV put in, and was hooked up to the Oxytocin to get things started. At 6:00pm the doctor came in and broke my waterbag... and from then on in my contractions had tripled in pain, but I put up with them until closer to 8:30pm, but then I was in tears, attempting to use the laughing gas, begging for the epidural.
One hour after asking for the epidural the anastegist FINALLY came to the rescue.. explained everything to me, and talked me thru what was happening when it was happening. As he got the needle/catheder half way in my back... they had gotten an emergency page, had to remove the needle and leave! He had said before leaving that he was sorry.. but it could take up to 2 hours for him to return! By this time I`m incredibly pee`d off and so badly in pain I could barely stand it.
But luckily 5-10mins later he returned and finished putting in the needle. I had never been so relieved before in my life! I loved the man by this time, as everything went numb and I barely felt anything...
Well this went on until about 3:30am, when I could start to feel the contractions again, so they gave me another shot and told me they would be back in half an hour so I could start pushing as I easily 10CM dialated by this time.
After 1 hour and 1 minute of pushing my baby had safely arrived into this worried!!!.
Daddy cut the imbilical cord, and off she went to be weighed, etc. 8LBS 4OZ ... and was 20.5CM in length! Very healthy baby! :)
I had a slight tear graded at a 1.. so I had to have 3 stitches, but other than that everything is just fine!!!
