Serenity-Jukari-Fye`s birthstory
Hey ladies! Sorry it took me so long to post this story. I have been real busy and they kept me in the hospital for almost a week. My best friend was able to give a little update but I know that wasn`t much. Well I got up at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning May 6. I took my shower and finished packing my last minute items. I got the kids up and dropped them off to stay at their grandparents house. They were so excited about the baby they didn`t even want to go to school. LOL! I stopped by and picked up my BFF also known as my sister. We got us some snacks and went to the hospital. I entered my room and got dressed in that ulgy hospital attire. My nurse came in to explain everything to me. She is so friendly! Then my doctor came in. She did a quick ultrasound and my baby was still in breech position. So then she explained to me that she was going to try to turn the baby around. Of course I was scared and not trying to hear that. I saw that procedure done online and it seems as if it hurt like hell. They did give me and epidural so my stomach muscles would be more relaxed and I woudn`t feel any pain. WRONG! It hurt so bad! I could feel when my baby went up against my ribs and to have the doctor trying to turn her around at the same time ws just awful. I got sick on my stomach and started vomiting. Everytime they let my bed back to turn her I got sick and my blood pressure went down. So they checked her again and she went to the other side in the same position. By now I`m like damn, I can`t take this anymore. The doctor let me rest for about an hour or two and came back to the same thing all over again. By now the epidural has taken effect and all I felt was pressure. It still didn`t work. She went right back to the other side. So Dr. Bongu went ahead and scheduled me for a c-section. I had to other people ahead of me so I had to play the waiting game. Thank God for that because I really needed that nap. LOL! My time came up and that`s when I got scared. I actually started crying. I had my other kids vaginal and to have to go threw this just really upsetted me. This was major surgery and I didn`t know what to expect. The whole process went so quick. My BFF was right by my side. she told everything they were doing step by step. She even got a peek at my insides as if I wanted to know that. Then came the moment I was waiting for Serenity JuKari came out. I got nervous that I didn`t hear that first cry. The nurse explained to me that they had to suction the fluid out of her. When they did my angel started crying. She is the most precious thing! So tiny not big at all. She weighed 7lbs and 3oz. She also has a head full of hair and the tinest feet! Then my doctor explained to me why she couldn`t turn her. She had to knots in her cord and the placenta was blocking her from moving down in position. If she had moved the cord would have stopped be breathing. Thank Goodness she decided not to move! Enjoy the pictures!
