i woke up at 4:27 am on my due date which was Feb. 15th.. i sat up in bed and a little fluid kinda gushed outta me.. then i felt like i had to poo.. i went to use the bathroom and started having HORRIBLE pains from my back to my stomach.. i got on this website and started askin the girls in the chat if that could be contractions.. i started timing them and they were 1-2 minutes apart... they started gettin worse so i went to my moms room and told her and we had a `OMG ITS TIME` deal lol..we got the bags and was out the door.. we got to the hospital and they put me in the room.. they confirmed my water broke and tried to put an IV in me.. HOLY HELL.. they stuck me like 4 times and finally got it in my wrist.. then i had severe pains and went for the epideral around 9. time had passed and i felt MUUUUCH better after the epideral ((which took 4 trys)) around 12 and i was 7 cm.. then around 2 or 3 they checked me and i was STILL 7.... he was tryin to come down the birth canal and i wasnt progressing sooo they took him by c section.. he was born at 4:26pm on February 15th 2008. he was 7lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long.he is GORGEOUS and I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCH ALREADY..

Levi`s birthstory

so i came in at 7:00 in morning to be induced. the doctor broke my water around 9:00 then 9:30 i started having really bad contractions. around 10:30 i got the epidural. the doctor came in around 12:00 and checked me i was a 5. then at 2:00 he came in and checked me again and i was fully dialated and ready to push. i pushed for 23 minutes and he was born!! my vbac was successful!!! and i did not need any meds to make me contract or progress!!! im soo happy!

the only thing that happened that wasnt that great... i tore and had to have stitches. yeeouch!

Kholby-Laine`s birthstory

so we get to the hospital around 10 on Wednesday morning. They get me to the room i get ready in. i change into my gown, get hooked to the monitors, get my iv, and answer TONS of questions lol. My mom, my brother and his girlfriend came in there to sit and wait with me. it gets to be around 11:45 and they give me this awful stuff to drink. im VERY nervous so im VERY nauseated. the nurses give me the little blue hat i have to wear and give my mom her awesome little blue outfit lol. they roll me out and into the OR. my mom has to stay in a room called the fathers waiting room while i get my spinal. I have to slide from the stretcher to the OR table. and hang my legs off the side. This whole time im literally SHAKING cuz im so scared. i start breathing slowly and try to relax myself so they can get the spinal in. this took wat felt like FOREVER. he would say, "let me know if you feel a sharp pain as soon as you feel it" ok this freaked me out a little bit. so im sittin there and he numbs my back to insert the spinal and i feel and AAAAWWWFUL sharp pain on my left side and i say "oww sharp pain" they asked where and i tell them the left side. but the way they reacted like a rushing type speaking and acting and that freaked meout even more. but anyways. i felt this sharp pain bout 10 times. til the numbing meds wore off and they had to renumb my back to insert it. FINALLY they get it after they renumbed me. as soon as they got it in my whole body went numb like automatically. i was like WHOA and felt like i was bout to just drop off the table. they laid me down very quickly tho. and strapped my legs down, put oxygen on me and then they got everything else ready and i just sat there feel very sick. i looked ovver and said "im bout to puke" so they give me a bowl right beside my head and a guy stands behind me with a suction thing and i puke like 7 times. then i feel very good and excited. lol. they bring my mom in and they begin the csection. i could feel them tuggin and pullin andi could kinda see wat they were doin in the big lamp thing hangin over me. lol. i actually seen them pull Kholby Laine out. he was a beautiful and big boy. he weighed 9lbs and 3oz and was 20.5 inches long. they put him on the little table beside me and began checking him. they were worried at first because he arms werent working. they would lift them up and they would fall straight down. he couldnt move them. they kept working with him til he finallly started moving his arms normally. he has a little problem with his right foot as well.. his last 2 toes are webbed together. they say it can be fixed easily but it just worries me cuz they wont fix it til he is around 6 months old. they let me see him and i give him bunches of kisses before they send my mom and him out to the nursery. i stay bout an hour after they leave and get stitched up. my doc tells me if i were to delivered vbac she had no doubt in her mind that my uterus would have ruptured becuz of how big he was and my uterus bein as thin as it was. meanwhile in the nursey, they are checking him out and tell my mom that his sugars are low and he cant leave the nursey til they get 3 bloodchecks that are normal. they have to feed him a bit from the bottle and the next 3 checks were normal. so he got to sit in my room with my mom while i was in recovery. i woke up in recovery about 2 hours later figuring.. yay i get to go see my little man... i was TOOOOTALLY wrong. they would massage my uterus to try to stop me from bleeding so much. they said it was normal to bleed alot after a csection but not as much as i was bleeding. i would literally be sitting in puddles of blood within 15 minutes after them cleaning me up. they tried pills and massaging me for hours and it just wouldnt stop bleeding so much. so the docs finally decided to put a fundus (sp) in to see if it would help. (if you dont no its a balloon they insert into your uterus and fill with water to apply pressure) so if i were bleeding from my uterus they would no if it stopped the bleeding. the pressure would clot where i was bleedin out from if it worked. they said if it didnt work i would have to go back to surgery and they would have to open me back up and see where i was bleeding and if they could fix it. worst case would be a histerectomy. so the doc comes in and inserts this. which is a VVVVVERRRRYYY PAINFUL processes. he tries once and cant get it in. then they give me more morphine and try again. he said if he cant get it in this time it would be back to the OR for me.. THANK GOD he got it in. so im in there a couple more hours with a morphine drip. i dont think i have ever been in that much pain in my entire life. so few hours go by and the bleeding slows down. my doc comes in and says they will keep me in recovery overnight. the only thing goin in my mind is my baby. i STILL havent gotten to see, hold him, or feed him yet. so i KNOW they have given him bottles.. im vrey upset bout this. so few minutes go by and my nurse comes over and tells me GREAT news.. they are putting me into a private room within the recovery room so my mom and my baby can stay the night with me :DDDD. i was sooooooo happy. bout an hour went by and they walked in the room.(((( so lets do this... 12:36pm was when he was born... i got outta surgery at 1:24pm... i didnt meet him til bout 11pm that night)))) i was sooo happy. couldnt stop smiling. i finally held him and fed him. i didnt wanna put him down. but i needed rest and so did he so i put him in the crib and we all went to sleep. the next morning they moved me to my room. still had LOTS of pain for a while and was still on the morphine drip (i was soo worried bout this and breastfeeding. i asked like 1000 times if they were sure it would not hurt him) but the next day i got off morphine and they took the fundus and the catheter out and had me gettin up and walking around. my nurse said she was so proud and couldnt believe that i had recovered so quickly cuz she had never seen anything like this in her 16 years of working the L&D floor. we are home now and i couldnt be happier with all 3 of my boys. btw Landon and Levi LOOOOVE their liittle brother to pieces.. took levi a little longer than landon but he came around finally :D
