Decklan-Scott`s birthstory

was taken in for an induction on the tuesday, was already 2cm and i felt he had droppe a little, tuesday night i started getting pains, so my husband stayed with me in the ward, the nurses kept coming in and telling us that either he had to leave or we had to be taken to delivery suite, so to delivery we went!
once up there we found out that even after all those pains i was still only 2cm! I felt horrible! my fist labour had been horrible and lasted 73 hours and i thought i was in for it again...
The midwife came in and said im going to give you some morphine and your going to go to sleep untill the drs get here at 9am tomoro. seems as how it was only 2am and i had hardley had any sleep the night before because i was so nervous i agreed and slept from 3am till 7ish.
dr rocked up at 9ish, broke my waters and attached a scull clipp to bubby so we could get a constant trace of his heart, contractions started almost imeadiatly, by 11 i was demanding pain relife wich was given in the form of the demand button drip.
dr came back at 11.30 and told me i would need the cyntocynen drip cause i `was not in labour yet` checked my cervix wich was 6cm, put still very far towards the back, she told me that if my contractions didnt come closer and my cervix didnt come forward by 3pm i was getting a c section...
at 1:30 the pain was unbearable even with the drip, and i could hardly breath though it anymore, i didnt feel the urge to push but i felt i had to do something so i did, i started pushing with them, and at 1:54 the midwife cheacked my cervix and said that it had 1cm to go and was still all the way at the back, i did not want to hear that!
No sooner had she taken her hand out, that i pushed just before the contraction and felt it give and his head come speeding though he didnt even get time to crown, the midwife was actualy pushing back on his head to stop him coming out to quick, his head quite literly exploded out and we found that he had the chord wraped twice around his neck and when his body came out the chord was also wrapped around his body.
He wasnt breathing but he was alert, they put him on my tummy and I was rubbing his back trying to get him to breathe but he wouldnt, they took him over to the resusatation trolly and gave him positive presure oxygeon and he was trying to breath but cause of how quick he came out his lungs were still full of fluid, after about 2 mins he was breathing normaly and they gave him to me to hold and keep him warm.
he was still absolutly covered in white vernix, and his eyes were bloodshot and he had little preasure marks on his forehead that looked like freckles, but the best thing was that he had hair! lots of it too!
He looks just like his brother and father, and he is doing realy well now, we are still having scans on his kidney and he has clicky hips but apart from that he is fine and healthy and beautiful!
