Max's birth story.

woke up around 9am and went pee,when i stood up i realized i was still peeing lol or so i thought. turns out my water was actually leaking. (it was his due date) so i went in and woke hubby up and said hey i think my water broke. so we got ready to go and headed for the hospital...or so i thought lol um yeah Eli had to go and buy his first born son a BASEBALL GLOVE really!? so after that...we headed to the hospital. sat in the little room and waited for the nurse to come check me,she said she didnt see any pooling of liquid but she took a sample and sent it to the lab. we waited for awhile and she came back in finally and said well i was on my way to tell you guys to go home and the lab called and said yes its amniotic fluid. (yeah i know when there is something coming outta me lady! she made me feel so stupid before she found out my water was leaking) anyway so we got checked in but nothing was really happening. so after a few hrs of me walking around ect they hooked me up to a drip and started the petocine to induce labor...OMG is that stuff strong and wicked lol my contrctions started coming right away and HARD! they had to break my water the rest of the way and after about an hr i wa begging for my epidural! i swear my nurse was anti drug or something,she kept saying oh no honey you can do this blablabla and puting me in diff positions. i was burrying my head into my moms chest screaming lol my mom was like shhh honey you said you didnt want to be one of those woman lol um yeah i dont care anymore. i was trying to have Eli push on my lower back or something anything but he didnt help at all he tried but he just wasnt getting it. i think he was a nervous wreck. so then my nurse says why dont we get you undressed and in a hot bath...yeah sounds like a good idea NOT just give me the damn drugs...so i do get in this flippin bath tub beach whale me! she puts a wash cloth over my belly and tell's Eli to sit on the side of the tub and pour water over it. OMG i was just pissed lol i was like this isnt helping now i am in pain and i am f*****G WET!!!! so they get me outta the tub and bring the guy in to give me my epidural. of course my mom high tails it outta there cause she doesnt want to see the needle (dont blame her i asked them not to show it to me either) they had me lay on my side and Eli sat in front of me and held my hands and just looked in my eyes,i was of course crying cause i was not only in pain but i am scared to death of needles too. but he put it in while i was in the middle of a contraction so i didnt even really feel it! AHHH finally now i am pain free! lol that drug is amazing :) so then it was just sit and wait time. my mom who had 2 kids w/o pain meds was like watching the monitor saying ok thats a strong contraction you cant feel that! nope...she was like wow what was i thinking lol so then it is time to push...they rolled this big o'l mirror in and i start pushing,well i thought i was doing a good job but i guess not. ;) then my doc has to go out nd help another lady,she ended up having to do an emergency c sec and tell the nurse to keep helping me. well when she came back a long time later i had made no progress and she was not happy! she ment for the nurses to have me keep pushing i guess and they hadnt. so the doc had to turn my epidural off! and i had to go from there. the mirror that was at the end of my feet was seriously a life savor cause i could see baby's head so it motivated me to push harder everytime i saw it start to come out. anyway i could feel myself starting to tear ot the top of my hoo hoo like where your lips meet lol so i say do you have any lube? they say yeah kinda like why? i say can you please put some on me!? meanwhile i am buck ass naked right now and they keep putting that mask over my face for oxygen ugh i was so hot so they ask were? i say i dono just all over! so hey do and i start pushing with my next contraction and when its over they want you to stop and take a break and push with the next contraction um NO his head is now out pretty puch and all i can think about is he's going to rip me so i say no i can do this and i just pushed with all i had and he came right out! oh yeah way back after i first had the epidural they kept loosing his heartbeat on the monitor so they had to come in and put a needle in me and into his HEAD! the promised me it wouldnt hurt him like they're really going to tell you if it's goig to but through that they could keep his heartbeat,i also had the tube going into my bladder the cathider geeze i felt lke i had all this stuff up there lol in the end i was in labor for 12.5hrs and it really wasnt so bad after the epi anyway. and i had my beautiful baby boy! there is seriously no better feeling that when they lay baby on your chest! my hubby was sitting there looking at him when i had to deliver the plecenta LOL OMG he didnt know that part was up there or had to come out hahahaha oh th look on his face when it did and they put it in the bowl right next to him. he was like WHAT IS THAT!?

Biggest achievement so far: He is just learning so much so fast i can`t even beleive the sentances that he`s saying :) this is my busy little man! he is also so happy and LOVES being around people!

well the day i went in with Sam i had been having watery like discharge all day but it was kinda thick so at first i didnt think it was my water...but it just wasnt stopping. so my hubby gets hm from working a 12hr sift! and is dead tired and dirty and i say honey i think my water is leaking we need to go to the hospital...he was like really now!? can i take a shower so yes i say go head. so i call my mom 5hrs away and tell her hey we're going to the hospital but dont worry about coming over right now cause you're not going to make it. (sam was SO low i mean you could barley stick your finger tip in me and feel his head! my doc had told me he prob wasnt going to take long) so she says ok i will head out first thing in the morning. so i call my girlfriend who was coming with us.and she decides to meet us there. we head out leave Max hm with my dad. he was only 22mo old and never stayed away from us. so we get to the hospital and they put me in a room like they did when i had Max and tell me they're going to check for amniotic fluid. ok...so she has me lay back and check and says hmm i dont think so but we'll see...OK WTF they said the same thing to me with Max! i know i am not peeing myself people lol so yes it is fluid they call my doc and check me in and my doc gives them the go ahead to start petocine because just like with Max no contractions are coming. ok well after hrs of being hooked up to the drip NOTHING is happening. i was already dialated to 5 when i got there. but now not really progressing. it's about 10pm at this point. i have to pee so i get up and BAM my water breaks ALL over the floor lol wow i was shocked cause they finished breaking my water with Max. so i go pee and they clean it up and i get back in bed to wait...so hubby brought his psp lol so he's laying on the couch in the room playing that and falling asleep and my friend is talking to me and looking trew magazines...falling asleep and i finally start having having contractions getting uncomforable but i am handling them because i dont want my epidural yet i THOUGHT if i had it this early it may wear off because for some reason that is what happened to my friend that was there with me. so i am laying on the bed just keeping my eyes closed and baring threw them. finally 6am my doc come in and is like um you're still pregnant!? i thought this boy would have fallen out of you right after you got here lol so then they start to get worried a bit because your water is only supose to be broke for so long before infection and things can get it. so my doc is like ok is there even petocine in this bag!??? she makes them switch the bag out and within about 20 min my contractions start comming hard and fast! now i kinda want the epidural! i am not to scared cause it wasnt that bad before. so this TEAM comes in ok..and the woman in charge tells me they are a teaching hospital blablabla do i care if so and so gives me my epidural? i say no whatever just do it! so they had me sit up this time and hug my legs Eli is stading in front of me and i start to cry alot cause i hate needles and just want it to be over with. they do it fine whatever and i lay back so they come back the whole troop and check to see if its working and i say well only my right leg is numb??? so they are like really? welp guess i need to do another epidural! OMG so i am bawling by this point from the contractions and having to do the whole needle thig again but i compose myself and the doc says again do you mind if so n so a diff girl does it she is relly good blblabla i just yelled NO and started crying more cause no please can the doc just do it please! so she says of course and the doc gives it to me and it works! so hrs go by boring hrs lol my friend was like um ok this isnt fun even when you were having contractions you were just laying there with your eyes closed! i thought i was going to be rubbing your back and helping you breath ect lol sorry i spoiled her time lol so now its time to start pushing! yeah and my mom just shows up!!! perfect timing guess Sam wanted to wait for grammy ;) so i push maybe 3 times and he popped right out! he was soooo cute i couldnt belive my eyes his head was perfect and everything i thought for sure he would have a huge cone head by this point. they check him over and make sure everything is fine cause my water was broken for so long meanwhile i have to deliver the plecenta,remember i am still numb...so the doc says can you give me alittle push. sure i push and OMG LOL blood just sprays out all over! my mom and friend have it on their shoes the doc has it all over her! oops i cant tell how hard i am pushing lol i just pushed out a baby you tell me to push i am going to push damn it! lol

that night Eli went home to be with Max before my dad flips out because i guess Max was up all night! and my mom stays with me. for awhile i just looked at this cute little baby like who are you!? lol after having 1 the 2nd one is so diff...i dont know how to explain it. but i was in love with this baby i knew that. the next day Eli brought Max in to meet his baby brother and thank god he got it on video because it was seriously the sweetest thing in the world! Max brought him alittle gift and wanted to hold him and then he tried to get up and carry him to me... yikes he just kept saying mams baby anytime anyone tried to touch him. so cute.

sooo...sunday sept 27th i went to go pee and everytime i thought i was done i kept going...so exactly like what happened with my boys. came out and told my hubby hey pretty sure my water is leaking! waited about a 1/2 to see if still happened and sure nuf everytime i went and sat down on the potty water would come out but stop when i stood up same with baby#1 so i call and tell labor and delivery whats going on and they say come in. so iwe get there check me say well i dont really see any water pooling the the vagina ect but swab and send it to the lab. (all 3 kids they have said this) they come back a short time later say no and send me home! UGH i am not peeing myself paople. so i have a doc apt the next a.m. anyway so i figer it wont be24hrs yet ok i will just be sent to the hospital prob tomorrow. get to my doc apt and she starts out first thing by telling me all these things it could be ect you would have started having contractions by now if your water was broken ect...so i say WELL actually this is the same thing that happened with my boys and i never did strt having contractions i have always had to be induced. she shrugs it off and goes to measure my belly and says "oh wow ur really sm,ur water does seem low" (no shit!) so she sends hubby and i to have n emergency u/s to check the water...after the u/s we have to go back to her office and be hooked up to a fetal monitor...she says u have 7cm of water around her if it were 6cm then i would send u to the hospital but i think ur ok...checks for fluid 2 diff ways there says its not leaking and then checks my cervix and says i am 3cm dialated and very thin..sends me hm! and says drink lots of water try and get ur fluid up and go to another u/s tomorrow. UGH SERIOUSLY! 1CM! whatever ok so we do. we go to the u/s the next a.m. and the u/s tech immedetly goes OH MY this isnt good...comforting since they're not supose to tell u anything LOL hubby and i are like um ok...she says u need to get to the hospital i am affraid. i will ask ur doc but most likely u'll be having a baby today u have 2cm of water!!!! WTF! ugh i almost start bawling! but hold it together. so yes we get sent straight to labor and delivery. it is about 4:45pm they start the petocine drip at 6pm and soon i am in full blown labor! ugh HATE petocine. tried to labor on my own as long as poss to see if i could dialate faster than last time. sucked but i did it for a good 4hrs then i could take it anymore so anistethia(sp) came in and gived me my epi! OMG WTF is wrong with these people LOL (i had my first 2 in a diff hospital) so he hits a nerve and i am litteraly screaming and cant stop shaking lol (poor hubby) my leg freaked out for a sec and everything. so then it hits me and i am feeling great! BTW my friend and SIL are in the room too,SIL is married but doesnt really want kids. so i am feeling great and then about an hr goes by and huh i am feeling my contractions coming again...OMG wow totally feeling everything again! so he comes back and puts alittle into the tube thats already in my back and i feel it start to take effect but then it starts wearing off...so he says we're going to have to remove the epi and put in a new one! UGH i start bawling LOL then i look around and hubby is o where to be seen. my friend says he asked me if i would stay with you this time cause he cant watch u again lol so he gives me another one much easier this time. and i am good. pretty soon its time to push,i pushed for about 5min and i hear the doc say we need to get the vaccum i give 1 hrd push and she popped right out! 6LBS2OZ 17"long! sooo sweet my little baby girl! doc says wow u must not have wanted that vaccum lol i guess her cord was wrapped around her neck is why they almost had to vaccum...she is such a good baby and we love her so much! and daddy the one who didnt want a girl so bad is totally in love with her ;)
