It was wednesday evening at 8:30 I was cleaning out my fridge, and I began to get bad cramps, butI ignored them for a while. They continued to get stronger and closer together, I thought to myself is this true labour. At this time it was 11:00 pm and I began to time them they where lasting longer then one minute and comming every 3-5 minutes.
I decided to call the hospital to see if they thought, they suggested taking a bath. I took a bath but it did not help one bit. I called them back and they said to come in to get checked. I got all my stuff together, in lots on pain and we headed out for the half hour drive to the hospital.
At this point my husband was convinced that I was going to be sent home. We finally got to the hospital at 1:15 am and they admitted me in. They brought me into a room right away and checked me, I was shocked when they said that I was 8 cm dialated and I was going to be having this baby really soon. They asked me if my water broke, I siad no, and sure enough right after I said no a huge gush of water came out. They so ok lets call the doctor b/c your going to start to push.
I begun to push, and he was on his way. Half hour or less later of pushing Octavian was born at 2:09 am. It was all natural and I sure felt it.
But it is so worth it! I love my boy so much, I can`t imagine life without him now. He`s such a great baby sleep well, eat well and doesn`t cry much. I love being a mom!
