Milo`s birthstory

I`ve had a lot of bleeding with this pregnancy and have been in and out of the hospital and on bed rest because of that. The doctors had warned me that a c-section was likely and that if I went into labour an emergency c-section would likely result. Well, I didn`t go into labour, but I did have another big bleed. This time it was gushing out of me like water, so I was rushed to hospital via ambulance as my husband was not home. He met me there just in time as I was there only long enough for the docs to have a quick listen to baby, then off to the OR for an emergency c-section. I had to be put out as there wasn`t the time for an epidural. At 10:41pm our third boy was born, only one short hour from the time I called the ambulance. He was born at 31 weeks gestation, so quite premature. I wished so much I could have cooked him longer as he has had to undergo numerous painful procedures to stabilize him. He seems to be doing better now, but it is a day by day process. Hope all the other mommies can keep thier babies in just as long as possible, despite the discomfort. I would take 100 more days of uncomfortable pregnancy if I could have saved my little boy from such a rough start in life.
