Xander`s birthstory

My beautiful little boy came into this world by planned c section, so no drama to report! I was treated beatifully by the hospital staff, and it was a lovely experience. Much better for me than either of my other vaginal births. I stayed in the hospital for three nights, and the only bad thig I have to report is I was not producing any colostrum for 48 hours after my little guy was born, so he started off on the bottle, and refused to nurse after that. I did try pumping but the stubborn little guy didn`t like the taste and refused it. I did manage to sneak some ito his formula for the first days after my milk came in, but I dryed up soon after. Even though I was pumping all the friggin time! It will be two weeks tomorrow, and I am nearly healed. I will take it easy for another week or so, but I am already walking around the block and off of pain meds. Ladies, do not be afraid of the c section if it is needed! It can be every bit as wonderful as a normal delivery!
