Grayson`s birthstory

I was sent to the hospital on the evening 30th because I was 41 weeks and had no dialation or effacement...i was treated with cervadil overnight, and at 6:00 a.m. was given pitocin...i immediately started contracting thou it was not painful for several hours. Around noon i asked for an epidural since im a wuss and didn`t want it to get to painful...the doc who did it was terrible...it took like 45 min and he had to poke me 5 different times...the pain from the needle is not bad at all..it was a few hours into more painful labor that we figured out it was only working on the left side of my body...i still felt everything on the right...not pleasant....we had to redo it and then with a properly working epi, there was gloriously little pain....so finally around 10:00 p.m. i was ready to push...which i did to no avail for 3 hours....the little stinker was not going to come out... i then spiked a really high fever and it was decided i would need an emergency c sec....which was fine...i was groggy and even slept thru the sewing back up....but my beautiful little boy came thru wonderfully and screaming....and recovery pain has been a breeze....i would do it all again in a heary beat...
