olivia`s birthstory

I was taking a nap with hubby from around 1 to 245. I lifted my head a litlle and felt a trickle. So I reached down and it was clear water. So then I got panicky and got up with every step I took I had more and more water coming out. Told hubby to get the kids ready I jumped in the shower a really quick one. By the time I got out I was pretty much leaking a lot. Called my mom to pick the kids up at the hospital and bam dumb traffic. My mom got to the hospital before me. Mind you that this whole time I never had a single contraction, no pain nothing!!! I got one almost getting to the hospital. Once I got in was checked and was already a 6. So then my doc wasn`t here and he was gonna be 45 min. That was fine for me got set up with my iv and antibiotics for my strep b. This was all probably by 445.doc came in and they said I had been having contractions every 3 mins which I stareted to feel at the end. Doc ordered pitocin to speed things up..My contractions started getting painful so I asked for some kind of shot they gave me morphine but only have the dose in my iv. About three minutes later I started to get sleepy and closed my eyes when I got the worst contraction ever. Had the urge to push right after.everyone was called in and I pushed for about 5 mins. Tmi but I did poop on the table, they didn`t believe me that I had to go before. But anyways. The cord was wrapped around her neck pretty tightly. It took her a while to start breathing and cry. Its the worst thing to wait for.so now she`s in the special nursery because of the strep b that I had. They want to make sure she didn`t get it, so lools like shell be here at least till Monday. I did get a second degree tear and I`m pretty sore but doing fine. But yeah it all took about two hours start to finish and no epidural yayyy! Will post pics this week.
