Maddison-Jean-Claffey`s birthstory

I don`t really have much of a story here I`m afraid as I had a planned c section. which really shouldn`t have been until 38 weeks. however in the last two weeks my blod sugar levels went really eratic and my consultant decided it wasn`t safe for me to be pregnant any longer and brought me in at 37 weeks to have steroids to developbabys lungs as she felt the diabetes may cause her lungs to be slightly less mature and the following day my gorgeous baby girl was born via c section after going into theatre to get my spinal and lying back for the surgery tobegin the midwife apeared and told me I was on my own as my big coward of a husband chickened out and left me on my own but the theatre staff were lovely and my girl was born after about 10 minutes of the surgery starting she had to spend a fe days in the special care nursery as she was born with lo blood sugar but this has soorted itsrlf out now and we are both home and doing really well.
