Hayden`s birthstory

I went to the hospital to have an ultrasound to check if my amniotic fluid was still low. They decided to induce me. I was admitted to the hospital at approximately 3 pm on September 22nd. I needed an IV but they couldn`t get a vein. It ended up taking 5 people, 10 tries and almost 4 hours before they got the IV in and started the oxytocin to induce me. The contractions started almost immediately. They checked me and determined I was still just less then 2 cm dilated. The doctors decided to use the `balloon` to help dilate me. They also broke my water. By about 11pm I was pretty uncomfortable and they checked me again and said I was between 3 and 4 cm but progressing slowly. They kept offering me an epidural to take the pain away but I decided to just try the morphine which helped take the edge off. At 1 am I was sure I had to start pushing and I was sill only between 5 and 6 cm. By about 2 am I was freaking out and so damn sure that I made them check me again and I was ready. I had pretty much started pushing before the doctors were ready but everything worked out fine, It only took a couple of pushes and my little man made his grand entrance at 2:41 am. He was 6 pounds and 15 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. He has dark hair (not too sure yet if it’s brown or black) and e has dark blue eyes. We decided to name him Hayden Alan Joseph. He is absolutely perfect and even though he was early I wouldn`t change any of it at all! :D
