Colton-Patrick`s birthstory

Well I had been having contractions on and off all weekend. I almost went to the hospital Saturday night because I was having contractions 3 min apart for about 3 hours. But they started to space out and eventually went away, I told my doctor and he had me come to the office on Monday morning. I had been having contractions that morning also, well he checked me and I was dilated to 3 cm & completely effaced. He set up an induction for Saturday if I made it that far. Well when I left the office I was again having contractions 3 min apart that were very uncomfortable. I went and got my oil changed, got some gas and stopped at McDonald`s for my son and went home to wait out the contractions. Around 4 I decided it was time to go in. My husband was at a golf outing, so I packed up my son and off we went. Once I arrived at the hospital around 5:15 they took me right in and into a room. I was hooked up to penicillin for my GBS and around 7:00 they broke my water, I was dilated to 4. They talked me into an epidural around 7:45, I wasn`t in much pain but they didn`t want me to miss my window. Well the contractions started to get really bad after the epidural was put in and I was glad it was in because they were getting VERY painful. Unfortunately the epidural didn`t work and I was forced to breathe through every contraction, I had a few contractions that were the most painful thing I have ever felt along with this intense pressure in my butt, I also felt him move downward. My nurse called anesthesia to see if they could come back but she was going to check me first. She checked me and had this funny look on her face, I said what am I 6?? Nope 10 his head is right here!!! OH MY GOD!! I dilated so fast!! She called my doctor he came in, they set me up and he asked me if I was having a contraction, I said no he said go ahead and push anyway I did and his head started showing already, I pushed two more times without a contraction and out he came!! It hurt like crazy, but was very quick! He is so cute and little. It sounds crazy but I almost miss being pregnant already! I definitely know for a fact i`m not done having kids, but Im so excited to begin this journey with new baby Colton and my 2 yr old Kale!!! Thank you ladies for being there for me!!
