Beckett-Christopher`s birthstory

We arrived at the hospital at 3am to be induced, Pitocin was given at 4am. I was 1.5 centimeters dilated 5 hours later. (same as I was a week and a half beforehand!) 8 hours into it I decided to get my epidural. By 15 hours into labor I was only dilated to 5 and every time they gave me pitocin the baby`s heart rate plummeted and they had to turn it off. The doctor came in and said she would give it one more try and if his heart rate plummeted again she would have to do a c-section. SO.... it did, and we had a c-section. I actually ENJOYED my c-section! It was great! Recovery hasn`t been a walk in the park or anything but I`d say it`s WAY better than having horrible vaginal tearing, so I`m extremely happy with the way everything went! Anyways he is PERFECT and the most beautiful baby in the world! (of course I am a bit biased!)
