Kennedy-Joanne-Beal`s birthstory

Well....this is a complicated story. I went to the ER on a friday night because of contractions and they said I was 2 cm dilated and monitored me for a while but nothing changed. That Sunday I went in with contractions again and they said I was 4 cm dilated...so they said `today is the day`. They admitted me and I was given morphine for the pain. I was there for a long time and nothing changed so they sent me home again!!! Went back that same night and they checked me and said i was a loose 4 cm and membranes were bulging. They admitted me again...this time I was not leaving. They said that if I had been around 39 weeks they would have already broke my water and got it rolling but since I was only 36 weeks they couldn`t do that. I was there all night and only got to 6 cm...then everything stalled...my epidural wasn`t working too well...I got a fever twice and had to wear an oxygen mask because the babys heartrate kept going up. I was scared to death!! Finally at around 8 am monday morning the dr. broke my water but it still took a while for things to change. I probably called the nurse in my room 4 times saying it felt like the baby was going to fly out..lol...every time she checked she said I wasn`t ready and not to call her again until I absolutely was sure..lol. Yea, so 2 minutes went by...and I was like, `Its time for real`...my hubby was like no its not...dont bother the nurse again....I said you better call her..lol..she came in and sure enough it was time...The dr. came in and it was finally time to have the baby!! By then I was soooo sick of waiting! I pushed for about 5 minutes and then Kennedy Joanne Beal was born!!
