Karmyti-Denise`s birthstory

Went to hospital Tuesday @ 12:30 pm for induction. I started at 0 cm dilated and 0% thinned cervix. Was given Cytotek 3 times until Wednesday morning @ 8:00. I was then only 1 1/2 cm dilated and 25% thinned. My water was broke @ 8:00am Wednesday and pitocin was started. I had terrible contractions, with no break in between and by 11:00 I had an epidural and was only 3 cm dilated. Pitocin was stopped @ 2:30pm due to babies heart rate dropping and my blood pressure not being stable. At this point I was 8cm dilated and 75% thinned. The baby had not dropped at all and her head still could not be felt. With the pitocin being stopped my contractions completly stopped and I was no longer laboring. At 5:15pm doctor and I decided the best and safest thing for myself and baby was a c-section. I was taken in right away and she was born @ 6:22pm. The cord was wrapped around hr neck once and she was literally stuck in me. They had to tug and pull to get her out. So after all that work prior a vaginal birth would not have even been possible. However no matter what all I went through physically and still am going through it was all worth it. We came home on Sunday after five days in the hospital due to my recovery. Karmyti is an absolute dream come true. She was well worth it all.
