Nathan-Riley`s birthstory

I went walking for like 2 hours Sunday morning with my son. We went to like 3 different parks lol, to keep him going. And then later that day my sister and I went for another walk that was like a half hour long. Later that night I was going to take a bath because my back hurt. I went to the bathroom before I was gonna get in the bath tub and when I stood up a little gush of water came out along with the rest of my mucus plug. I thought I might be losing amniotic fluid, so I called my dr and he told me to go to the hospital. We went to the hospital and I started having some regular contractions around 10pm. I wasn`t progressing though, and wasn`t leaking fluid, so they sent me home to labor as much as I could at home. That whole day on monday I had some pretty painful contractions that were all 4-5 mins apart. But the dr checked me again in his office and I STILL wasn`t progressing. At about 11pm on Monday night, I started having some very painful contractions about 2 mins apart that I had to do my breathing through. We called the dr and he said go to the hospital. I still wasn`t progressing much, I was only dialated to 2cm, but they admitted me because the contractions were so close. They gave me an epidural about 3 hours into being there and from there we just waited for my body to progress. Finally at around noon on Tuesday I was fully dialated and my water broke on its own. I started pushing around 1:15 and only pushed about a half hour and Nathan RIley was born! He is 8lb 8oz and 21 in long and looks just like his daddy!!!! We`re so happy!
