Richard-James`s birthstory

I was induced becasue of my gestational diabetes, he was 12 days early and if I would have had him in the due date he probably would have been 8 almost 9 pound, and too big for me to have naturally! Wow it was painful I didn`t have an epidural. I went in at 6:30 am to be induced, I had a pill inserted at 8:00, I was only 1 centimeter dialated. I walked the halls for hours and at 1:00 was only dialated to 2, so they started pitocin. By 6:00 I was only 3-4 dialated, so my doctor broke my water and that started the real labor, and it was crazy! I had been able to breath thru contractions, and all that flew out the window. It was so intense and fast, I puked, I started screaming and I was in this zone, it felt like an out of body experience because I knew my body was completely taking over, I never screamed at anyone, I was just yelling `oww` and stuff like that. My hubby and mom and sister were in there and they were all crying watching me in this pain. the contractions were every 2 minutes in about 45 minutes I dialated 5 centimeters and was `complete`. Then I could start pushing (thank God) I pushed for quite a while, in a bunch of different positions. They ended up getting the vacuum to help him out, I didn`t even notice. I thought I would have been a basket case but I wasn`t. Finally he was born, it was amazing. Then I had to be stitched up, my doctor gave me an episitiotomy but I still tore, a 4th degree which is the worst, and it took 30 minutes to stitch me up. Oh gosh then I blacked out for a second when they tried to et me up, but it was so worth it. I was in shock the next morning looking at this little guy who came out of my body looking so darn cute!!!
