Madison`s birthstory

I started having contractions all day, June 25th. As time went by, the contractions started getting worse, about 3 - 4 minutes apart. I decided to go to the hospital at around 4:30 am, June 26th. When I got to the hospital I was only 1 cm dialted, and the nurse decided to call my doctor, to see if he wanted to admit me. At around 6:30, the nurse came in and indicated that I would be admitted. They started me on Pictosin and peniclin, due to being Group B Strep Positive. By 11:45 I was 3 cm dialted, and I decided to get an epidural, which was not bad at all. By 5:30, the nurse checked me again and indictaed that I was 10 cm dialted and that I r.eady to push. I then asked for some more edpidural medicene because I could feel it wearing out. After I got the medicene, I was then ready to push. I pushed for about 30 minutes, and my baby was born!!! It was a wonderful experience!!! Labor was very easy for me. I am so happy that I was not induced. Madison was 4 days overdue, and worth the wait.
